Constellation Research today announced Sudhir Jha, Mastercard SVP and head of Brighterion, was recognized as a member of its 2022 Business Transformation 150 (BT150), an elite list of executives leading business transformation efforts around the globe.
Digital leaders have been greatly challenged this year by a perfect storm of disruptions due to COVID-19, generational shifts in the workforce, a hypercompetitive new customer experience landscape, and the relentless march of exponential digital change, among other factors. The BT150 nomination process took these influences into consideration when selecting this year’s executives to ensure it genuinely reflects today’s world and leading trends.
Nominations from peers, industry influencers, technology vendors and analysts powered the six-month selection process. Each executive on the list demonstrates an understanding of how the business environment is transforming in response to digital and exponential technologies, and these leaders are actively preparing their companies to excel during and after the transformation.
“I’m honored to be included in the BT150 list a second year in a row,” said Jha. “This distinction is a great reflection of the larger work we’re doing at Brighterion to provide highly scalable and ethical AI solutions to expedite and enhance digital transformation of our customers.”
Prior to joining Brighterion, Jha was Senior Vice President at Infosys Limited, where he led their AI Platform and Solutions business unit. During his tenure, Jha drove the development and growth of Infosys Nia, establishing the business as a leader in AI-driven business transformation solutions for Global 2000 companies.
Jha previously spent more than nine years at Google where he was product head of policy enforcement for Google’s multi-billion-dollar Personalized Ads products. He also led financial fraud management across all Google products, establishing industry benchmarks for loss prevention while minimizing good customer impact. Additionally, he helped Google develop its first proprietary CRM system, now used by its worldwide sales team. Jha has held leadership roles with two start-ups that were successfully acquired. He began his career at Intel, where he held various positions in product marketing and software engineering during his eight-year tenure. Jha holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from IIT Kanpur, a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Rochester and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
“In curating the next generation of BT150 executives from our network, we emphasized those who are successfully navigating the historic challenges of the last year, while still effectively guiding their organizations to transform and evolve,” said Dion Hinchcliffe, VP and Principal Analyst at Constellation Research. “I am excited to help them tell their stories to the world over the next year as we share from these leading lights in the digital world the innovative ways they lifted their organizations up and propelled them into the future. I’m very proud of this year’s highly diverse group of inductees.”
