Following his distinguished career of service in Her Majesty’s Royal Air Force and at Scotland Yard, Raymond Kendall joined INTERPOL in 1971. From 1985 until 2001, he served as three-time Secretary General of INTERPOL from its headquarters in Lyon, France. In addition to his leadership fulfilling the traditional mission of INTERPOL, Mr. Kendall initiated joint efforts globally with the private sector to address the growing threat of cybercrime and promoted the need for international cooperation to prevent abuses on the web.
An honors degree recipient from Oxford University, Mr. Kendall has received awards from the governments of France, Spain, Finland, United States, Chile, Peru and Russia. He is also recieved the Lifetime Achievement Award from the United States Marshall’s Services and was honored by the International Association of Chiefs of Police and the US Drug Enforcement Administration.



Dr. Adjaoute brings over 20 years of experience in developing useful artificial intelligence and machine learning applications. He is recognized as a leading figure in the international cognitive science community, where his contributions have received numerous awards. Prior to founding Brighterion, Dr. Adjaoute was the founder, President and CEO of Cognitix Technologies, previously known as Conception En Intelligence Artificielle, developer of MINDSuite.

Dr. Adjaoute has a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from University Pierre & Marie Curie. His doctorate was awarded the Mention Spéciale  by the Tribune des Mémoires et Thèses and he was the first to bring Smart Agent Technology to the market. He has served as the Scientific Director for the Ecole pour l’Informatique  and as an adjunct professor in Artificial Intelligence and Business Intelligence at the University of San Francisco (USF).



Bruce Rutherford is Group Head, Fraud Management Solutions. He is responsible for the product management, development, sales, and implementation of MasterCard Worldwide fraud management solutions, the evolution and deployment of industry standards including the PCI Standards and MasterCard SecureCode, product management and related operations for Holograms, fraud reporting and associated data analytics, and for risk/fraud training through the Academy of Risk Management. In addition, Mr. Rutherford also represents MasterCard on the executive committee of the PCI Security Standards Council, an industry-standards organization that was formed in September, 2006.

Mr. Rutherford’s extensive experience in product management and the development and evolution of industry security standards gives him unique insight into the challenges and opportunities of deploying emerging technologies to help MasterCard customers and merchants reduce their exposure to fraud and other financial risks.

Mr. Rutherford joined MasterCard worldwide in 1997 and has had previous roles within the MasterCard Advanced Payments organization where he managed internet and data security initiatives. His prior experience includes senior management responsibilities associated with the product management and service development of voice telephony initiatives for major telecommunications carriers including AT&T and MCI.

Mr. Rutherford is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration degree.



With almost 30 years of experience in corporate strategy and executive management with leaders in the banking, technology, and payment system industries, Mr. Bourely is responsible for overall strategic direction, growth and management of Brighterion Europe.

Prior to joining Brighterion, Mr. Bourely held a wide range of senior strategy positions. He began his career as Founder and President of SG2 Group and additionally held corporate strategy and international business development positions at “Groupement des Cartes Bancaires” and “Groupement Carte Bleue.” Mr. Bourely was also the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SME Conseil, a multi-national consulting firm, driving many campaigns for customers as prestigious as BNP Paribas, NCR, UNISYS and France Telecom Mobiles.

He earned an Aeronautical Engineering degree from Stanford University.
